The Peoples Improv Theater (ThePIT-NYC.com) offers a full lineup of sketch, stand-up, improv, acting, and film classes along with free monthly seminars!

With the mandatory closure of their physical theater spaces in March due to COVID-19, The Peoples Improv Theater has been working diligently to build their roster of renowned online comedy classes. With classes varying from sketch comedy writing to podcasting, The Peoples Improv Theater offers an incredible selection of courses for every artist and creative.
The Peoples Improv Theater also offers free monthly seminars. FamProv is designed for families to play improv games with instructors Roy Rodriguez and Dana Schuman. Exercises are primarily for children 5 and older with their adults, however younger children and grandparents (even pets!) are encouraged to join. Stage Presence: Stand-Up Comedy Performance, taught by Nicole Korkolis and Stephanie Holmes, discusses the various performance techniques that make jokes stronger and help them land harder. Participants will learn how comedians use their body, voice, pacing, and intonation to further their performance while using the camera to their advantage for virtual showcases.
