But professor francois also notes that schiff got big endorsements from high profile female politicians like pelosi and barbara boxer, and that exit polls suggest that women voters supported schiff in equal numbers to men. I think we have to have a broader lens in terms of looking at local elections, city elections, and county elections. And we saw obviously, jackie spear reelected the board of supervisors. What i am grateful about the propositions i put on the ballot is it gave people, the public, a chance to see and to understand what is actually happening and has been happening in city hall. We highlighted a deficiency in our government and people responded by saying, we want to change that because we want results. Yes, the nights young is still young, but im not. Heres a look at whats happening with live doppler seven. Weve got, well, a mixed bag of weather here right now. Much of the bay area at the moment is not getting any significant rainfall, but the east bay has been getting a drenching in the last couple of hours. And down in the south bay, although this is all sort of sinking southward right now, its having an impact on the evening commute. So right now from hayward down to fremont and portions of eight 8580 and 680 getting very wet right now with some water pooling on some of the roadways. So thats going to have an impact on the commute and some more heavy rain down in the Santa Cruz Mountains right now. But the storm is beginning to lose a little bit of its punch, yet still on the exclusive abc seven storm impact scale, its a level one storm into the early evening hours. More scattered showers are likely, with occasional downpours and still a chance slight chance of some isolated thunder. But notice on the forecast animation as we get about past 8 00 this evening, it is very unlikely well actually have a storm that deserves a ranking. So when we go to rainfall estimates by 11 00 tonight, were talking about maybe a couple of hundredths of an inch of rainfall in those areas affected by the current downpours. And notice the separation in 24 hour temperature change up north of the golden gate and eastward a bit. You can see its warmer by several degrees than at this time yesterday. But where its been raining lately, its several degrees cooler than at this time yesterday. So weve got some mist in the air over San Francisco right now. Temperature readings right now in the upper 50s at San Francisco, oakland, hayward, san jose, san mateo, and 55 at Half Moon Bay. A whole different view of the sky looking westward from emeryville. And then we go to our forecast headlines. Partial clearing will begin overnight tomorrow and friday. We expect sunny or milder weather. And this weekend cloudier and cooler and rather unsettled. Some chances of showers over the weekend. For tonight, though, as the clouds begin to move out. Giving way to the sun breaking through tomorrow morning. Well see low temperatures dropping into the low to mid 40s for the most part, and high temperatures tomorrow under mainly sunny skies. 57 Half Moon Bay 60, in San Francisco, low 60s around the bay shoreline and low to almost mid 60s in the inland east bay. And here is the accuweather seven day forecast. Two nice, sunny, milder days coming our way tomorrow and friday. Notice how unsettled the weather will be though . Saturday, sunday, monday and tuesday actually, there is the possibility of showers almost any of those days in that four day period because its going to be so unsettled. But we should focus on sunday, which is oscar sunday here on abc seven. And its also the beginning of Daylight Saving time. So we should set our clocks forward, forward one hour. Thats right. So we lose an hour of sleep. Well, unless you just want to sleep in late and miss work. Yeah i would never do that. Who would ever think of that . Yeah. Yes, yes. But many people gain the ability to exercise after work and its light out. I love it, i love it, im a fan. I was thinking, if theres an emergency within the school, they immediately just open the pouches up and everybody can have contact with the outside world. I think. So, yeah. I mean, i think you need access to the phone in case of an emergency, but yeah, why have it in the classroom on a typical classroom day . Yeah.
