The streets around the dispensary here have been closed for many hours during this investigation, which is now taking a new dramatic turn. The department of justice, now taking over the officerinvolved shooting investigation which is protocol, we are told, when an unarmed civilian is killed. Fire hydrants spray water into the air. Police say a blue infinity crashed into it while attempting to get away from the scene of a possible burglary at the dispensary. Martinez Police Say Officers responded to an alarm at 3 30 a. M. And found multiple subjects at the dispensary. A white suv took off. Officers said shots were fired and there was an assault on an officer. One neighbor says the sound of gunfire awoke his family up. The California Department of justice confirms the martinez Police Officer shot and killed a man during the burglary call. The four officers have been placed on paid and administered of leave as part of the department policy. Four Police Officers involved in this officerinvolved shooting. Larry the man who shot a san jose Police Officer during a Domestic Violence call was in court this afternoon. The 44yearold is facing charges of attempted murder and other firearm related charges. They say he attacked his pregnant wife on wednesday. When police arrived. , they shot the officer in the stomach just below her bulletproof vest, then barricaded himself for hours before being arrested. The officer remains in critical condition. Kristen a disturbing case out of san jose. A staff member at Valley Christian School accused of paying students to provide the explicit images and videos. Police arrested todd baldwin yesterday and charged him with felony possession and description of child sexual material. He is now free on bail. The 43yearold worked in the facility the arrest came after authorities received a tip and they searched his home on wednesday. This the school cooperated and assisted with the investigation. Now to our coverage of robo taxis in San Francisco. Last night a fire truck hit a vehicle with a passenger inside. Larry the window who at fault in this case . Reporter we dont. We are waiting for police to determine who was at fault. In the meantime, that passenger asked to go to the hospital last night. We dont know the persons condition. We know that this afternoon the fire chief was at city meeting with the mayor. And a few supervisors regarding what to do about this incident. This was the scene last night at the intersection of polk and turk streets. Truck was apparently headed southbound but had moved into the northbound lane, something trucks do to get around other cars. Crews responded on social media, one of our cars entered the intersection on a green light and was struck by an Emergency Vehicle that appeared to be in route to an emergency scene. One of the firefighters involved in the accident told police what he claims the cruz vehicle did at the intersection. He says it looked like it lurched.
