Prosecutors say this was all part of third effort to overturn the 2020 election. Jobina the indictment alleges trump and his allies refused to accept that he lost the election and that they knowingly and willfully join the conspiracy to unlawfully change the outcome of the election in favor of trump. Fulton County District attorney fani willis launched a criminal investigation more than 2. 5 years ago after the president was recorded on a phone call simile pressuring the states top election official to help him find the votes needed to win. Look, all i want to do is this. I just want to find 11 votes, which is one more than we have, because we won the state. Jobina trump has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing, speaking out about all of this in iowa over the weekend. This is his fourth indictment. Willis says she wants the trial to begin within six months. All 19 defendants have until august 25 to turn themselves in. One thing different from trumps Previous Court appearances, tv cameras are likely to be allowed inside the courtroom this time. What was supposed to be the biggest San Jose City worker walk out in decades has been suspended. A proposal from the city is expected to be discussed at todays city council meeting. Ryan curry is live in san jose with details. Ryan good morning. The unions representing the workers say the city has offered them a better deal. That proposal goes before the City Council Later today. Workers have been told to show up for work today. This now suspends that strike that was supposed to be probably the largest one in san jose in 40 years. The unions behind it say they did not want to have a come to this point, but they were and still are ready to strike. The two unions representing the workers are calling for better wages, better working thin editions working conditions and asking the city to address hundreds of vacancies. The union says they have reissued an agreement with the city and now i waiting for with the city council will vote on. We are pleased to report that conceptual terms have been arrived on a new agreement that will go forward to the city council in closed session tomorrow. Pending that approval, it is likely we will take that new, those new terms, if it formulates into an agreement, to our membership in the later days of the week. Ryan san jos statement monday saying, while i support substantial raises for our workers, i will be paying close attention to the budget offices projected fiscal impact before voting on the proposal. Signing up for tens of millions of dollars in projected deficits and therefore likely future service cuts and layoffs would not be fair to city workers or residents. I wont vote for something today that is going to hurt us tomorrow. The unions did not disclose the terms yet that they agreed upon. They proposed a contract with a 7 raise and other raises over a threeyear term. The city offered initially lower than that. They did come to that agreement. The Bay Area Finance Authority says it would be the first time funding of this type was approved for an entire region. Hundreds of thousands of student loan borrowers will finally see forgiveness. The Biden Administration is canceling debt for more than 800,000 borrowers enrolled in income driven repayment plans. In on notifications are starting to go out this week.
