For now, the curfew will last until december 21st. In the south bay, Santa Clara County is expanding free testing starting this week because of the increase in covid19 cases. The testing facility at the santa clara fairgrounds will be expanded to accommodate 3,000 appointments a day. Expansion wont stop there. The goal is to make room for 5,000 appointments a day by middecember. The facility will be testing for the flu while testing for covid19 and anybody can get a flu shot. You also continue to have our flu shot clinic and people can come in and get a free flu shot regardless of immigration status, regardless of medical insurance. They can definitely come here and get a flu shot. The facility accepts drivethrough, bike, walkup and scheduled appointments. Clinics will be closed on tha s thanksgives. The United States reached another grim milestone today. 12 million confirmed coronavirus cases since the virus began, thats according to data by Johns Hopkins university. 178,000 people tested positive for the virus yesterday. 83,000 people are currently in the hospital. Now people are lining up to get tested before thanksgiving to be able to spend it with loved ones, but the cdc is urging everyone to avoid traveling for the holiday and celebrate with their immediate household only. The republican incumbent tested positive for the virus friday night but a followup test yesterday came back inconclusive. She is selfisolating as a precaution. Senator loeffler is racing against democrat Rafael Warnoch in one of the Runoff Elections that could tilt the balance of power in the u. S. Senate. Also new out of georgia a recount of its ballots after certifying the results on friday. The Trump Campaign is requesting a second recount. The results from friday show president elect joe biden beat the president by more than 12,000 votes. Michigan and pennsylvania will also certify their Election Results for biden tomorrow, and a federal judge has dismissed the Trump Campaigns pennsylvania ballot lawsuit. The judge said that disjointed lawsuit lacked factual proof to support it. Still, several dozen supporters of President Trump gathered at the State Capitol on saturday for what organizers called a stop the steal rally. Counter protesters were also there, but police tried keeping them separated with metal fencing. Officers say there was still some sort of altercation between the two groups.
