Victim and was set up is totally false and outrageous. Just moments ago we heard from the owner of the salon where House Speaker nancy pelosi got her haircut against San Francisco hemt orders. Good evening. Im larry beil. Im ama daetz. A zoom News Conference just wrapped up. Kate larsen joins us with more. Reporter i do want to go over the timeline of what has happened this week. On monday, Speaker Pelosi went to esalon on juunion streetunuuo her hair down. She was inside which is against health orders. The independent hair scalist that works there styled her hair. On tuesday Speaker Pelosi took responsibility for going to the salon and said the salon was set up and said they owed her an apology. The owner of the salon erica kious said her independent stylist Jonathan Dinardo is releasing false statements. Hairstyle rifts in San Francisco and elsewhere are doing what they need to do to survive. The point of releasing this video was and is, if a woman in a highrisk age group who spends much of her time on tv warning about the dangers of covid19 feels safe and comfortable in a San Francisco salon and can be responsible for being cautious and mindful, why cant the rest of San Francisco and the rest of america do that, too . So kious said the independent stylist Jonathan Dinardo made the appointment with pelosi and she didnt find out about the appointment until sunday night when jonathan called her. He was upset, and she said monday that after she saw the video and that pelosi was not wearing a mask inside the salon, thats when she decided to release it. Meanwhile, the attorney for the stylist who worked with pelosi confirms pelosis claims that he was pressured to work at the salon during the city mandated closure. He said this office is in possession of photographs, videos and witness information that ms. Kious contrary to prior statements to the press has been operating her business during the stayathome orders from a simple surface level review from her political leanings, it appears shes furthering a setup of Speaker Pelosi for her own vein aspirations. Meanwhile in washington, this political battle went a step further today when White House Press secretary Kayleigh Mcenany played video during her opening remarks to the White House Press corps. Mcenany says pelosi wants Small Businesses to stay shut down and reopen only for her own convenience. President trump of course weighed in tweeting crazy nancy pelosi said she was set up by the beauty parlor owner when she improperly had the salon opened and didnt wear a mask. Does anyone want a speaker of the house who can be so easily set up. Go back to work and stop victimizing us. In San Francisco this afternoon this happened. A group of protesters with rollers and brushes in their hair hung hairdryers in a tree outside Speaker Pelosis home. They want the freedom to go back to work in salons and get their own hair and nails done. Across the country it seems Speaker Pelosis decision to go to a hair salon continues to ramp up discussions and controversy on all sides of this. Well keep you updated and be back at 6 00.
