So live doppler 7 right now the active sweep showing you no storms in the immediate vicinity, but well widen out the view. And what we are watching and what is of concern are thunderstorms that have developed off the Central Coast right now. Live doppler 7 estimating the number of lightening strikes in just the past 15 minutes with that cluster of storms is 106. And those storms are moving into Northern California over the next couple of hours. So the threat is there that we could see storms thatl havoe br lightening to the bay area. So it is for that fact that a red flag warning is now in effect for the entire region until 11 00 a. M. Tomorrow morning. Typically when we talk about red flag warnings its for gusty winds but tonight its for that threat of dry lightening that could potentially start new vegetation wildfires.
