It was really a restless night. I was afraid power was going to go off again. And it was very, very hot. Reporter pg e says more Power Outages are possible. The utility tweeted statewide heat wave continues, pg e encourages customers to conserve energy through wednesday. Rotating Power Outages possible saturday night from 5 00 to 10 00 p. M. Californias independent system operator told us this afternoon its not anticipating any power emergencies today, but pg e remains on standby. Asking customers to be ready just in case. Cornell, thank you very much. 50,000 gallons of raw sewage spilled into the Oakland Alameda estuary last night because of a power outage according to the east bay municipal utility district. The outage caused a failure at the main plant near the bay bridge. People are being told to avoid the water there for several days. Its a dilution issue really and we have to wait for a couple of days most likely. And well be testing the water. Well be doing sampling along the estuary. And when the water is safe we will let the public know that they can go back in. East bay said it had no warning from pg e that the power was being cut. Pg e has not commented. East bay mud said its going to have to pay a fine for the spill. Three teens have been rescued from San Franciscos ocean beach within the last hour, and one is in critical condition. Abc 7 was at ocean beach this afternoon, where you can see plenty of people trying to beat the. San francisco firefighters tweeted they received a call saying three people in the water were distressed. When their crew arrived, they found one teen in need of immediate cpr. The boat even faced a riptide on the return trip and was forced to find a longer route to shore. Meantime, power also went out in Southern California. This is the simi valley just last night. The rolling blackouts lasted for about an hour for each outage group. Parts of Southern California are under an excessive heat warning through 9 00 p. M. Wednesday. Sources tell the iteam that at least cotyowned computers to apply for benefits. Some of those inmates face murder charges. The scam netted about 250,000. San mateo county sheriffs deputies and officers from other agencies arrested 21 people in three counties stretching from San Francisco to the san joaquin valley. Those suspects include girlfriends and friends of the suspected inmates. A man died this morning while being taken into custody by the Sonoma County sheriffs office. Deputies responded to a Domestic Violence call this morning and when they arrived at a home on river road a man and a woman walked out with the woman asking for help and the man holding her. Developing news, a new round of evacuations have been ordered for the destructive lake fire burning north of los angeles. The wildfire has burned around 23 square miles.
