We are out here on interstate 580 and traffic was impacted in both directions. They had to shut down lanes in both directions as the fire appeared to be burning in between the lanes. And then at one point did jump the freeway. And hit the other side of the freeway. So really impacted traffic, we saw quite a backup. And take a look at the second clip of video we have, you see the charred hillside or the gra grass, an idea of how much burned. And it is windy so they were having to deal with the wind pushing the fire. Good reminder just how hot and dry it is out here. But they have managed to get the fire out and we were just on the freeway moments ago and caltrans was out there picking up the cones and telling us that they were opening back up.
