Its cross cultural. Its unifying. When people dance together you just get a sense that theyre leaving their problems behind and theyre happy, theyre joyous. I thought it was an amazing idea and something weve never done before. New way for me to protest and im all for it. Im just excited to get the word out. Hopefully we have more people join us and we make it bigger. When i first saw the slogan, white silenc equals white consent its like i woke up and wondered if my silence was part of the problem. Why not protest and say black lives matter and make more awareness that as white people we should not be quiet. Hip hop is something so popular we would use that as a mnso be able to protest in that way. So i enrolled my hip hop teacher and we put this together, got some neighbors and friends knd adults and seniors all dancing in the cult sack all wearing the signs and all enjoying the lesson. And dancing with love in our heart and dancing for equality. And it just felt like, you know, now were saying something, now were doing something. Now at least these kids can go back and say im part of a protest and feel really good about it. Everybody feels comfortable and empowered by dance. I would hope that people would really notice that maybe they can do more. Hopefully it becomes bigger and we get more people id and we turn it into something grt. Love it.
