Reporter thursday two months to the day after Steven Taylor was shot and killed, a vigil was held to remember him. Family, friends, and even those who didnt know steven spoke. His grandmother says she can no longer watch the video. It is hard to look at something when you see your grandson dying right in front of you on a dirty floor. Reporter San Leandro City Council voted tuesday to reallocate 1. 7 million that would have gone to the Police Department to other areas to help those in the community. Those here say that that is not good enough. Not for a city in a spends more than 40 million a year funding the Police Department. Taylor was homeless at the time of the shooting and it is still unclear what happened. He may have been having a mental episode, but his mother says that is no excuse for what officers did. Rolfe will appear before a judge this morning facing charges of murder in the death of Rayshard Brooks in a wendys parking lot. The other officer to respond to the call, 26yearold devon brosn brosn brosnan, will testify against rolfe. He is accused of standing on brooke bes should bes should struggled for life. His attorney described the encounter.
