I just watched the first episode. Its so compelling. It really, its the story of these women who are having babies, and you follow them through the whole pregnancy, and they shoot themselves. And youve got some well, talk about some of the people that are on this special. Okay. This is our Second Season, and, you know, you come back to your Second Season. You think how do you top these incredible people we followed last year, but somehow we have incredible people. We got a, one girl has cerebral palsy, and the struggles that we follow her life and the struggles she goes through carrying a child. We have, we have twins that, one was trying to get pregnant and one happened to get pregnant just by mistake. And how they have to, like during this coronavirus how they cant spend time together. Jimmy im excited to see, you too. What a great thing youve done. Tell us how this happened. How did you wind up going from arkansas . Whose idea was it and how did it happen . Well, im from nigeria. I had a bad marriage, and i decided to move on. So i came to the states. Jimmy mmhm. Became a nurse. Initially started as a waitress. Jimmy where did you work as a waitress . I worked in waffle house. I worked in taco bell. Jimmy oh, all right. And then you got your nursing degree . Yes. I got my lpn license, got my rn license, then went to nursepractitioner school and have my np. Jimmy got you. And your daughter followed in your footsteps . Also became a nurse . Yes. Yes, correct. Jimmy and who thought, hey, you know what . This is great working here in arkansas, but we should go to new york where we can really help. Well, i initially thought, you know, why not come to new york and help others. I noticed that the staff was pretty much overwhelmed out r r here, so i thought, lets come to new york and help. Jimmy were they happy and grateful to see you when you got to new york to help . Oh, my gosh. Oh, my gosh. New york. Everybody was so happy. Everybody opened up with open arms, everybody welcomed us here. I mean from the staff. People were coming up saying thank you for coming to help us, we needed the help. My hospital embraced me. New york has been wonderful. Jimmy do you feel that things are Getting Better there now . Definitely. I think things are definitely Getting Better. Compared to when i first came. I only had high admissions. The patient ratio were a bit much. Out, you know, i work in the icu, so i would get maybe to eight intubated patients, now im getting about two to three patients, its got a lot better. Jimmy i know you guys have been working 12 hour shifts, worki living in a hotel, there are nurses from all over the country who are also there to help.
