Alex presha has the perspective from some business owners. From georgia to tennessee to colorado, states have begun lifting lockdowns. Some businesses responding. The governor has aloud it here in georgia. Were looking to his leadership as an indication when its appropriate for us to open. Others still hesitant. Suzanne owns buttermilk kitchen in atlanta. She says she was forced to furlough half her staff, but even with the go ahead to reopen from the governor we dont feel safe, you know. Number one is safety. A new round of government funding would help Small Businesses like suzannes. 310 million for the Paycheck Protection Program. But the online loan application process has been full of technical issues, and those that missed out on the first rund of funding are back, desperate for some aid. Treasury secretary Steve Mnuchin says those website problems will be resolved today. As for big businesses scooping up the loans, he said this on cnbc. Its the borrowers who have criminal liability.
