Back in winters, its less about the money and the guidelines than the principle. As a former marine and chp officer he knows about respecting rules and now defying them. We as adults and politicians and our leaders are teaching our kids. Were teaching them that, hey, when things get scary or things get tough, lets go inside and run and hide. Its either that or stand outside, defending your actions one answer at a time. Im more worried about the guaranteed loss im going to take if i continue to stay closed. It cant be more damaging that the risk. And so we approach a boiling point. In Solano County, Wayne Freedman, abc7 news. All right. Bay area weather felt like it reached a bit of a boiling point as well. It sure did. Will this continue . Spencer christian is here with the forecast. Spencer . Well said. It did indeed feel like it was reaching a boiling point, especially in the inland areas. That has changed dramatically as the marine layer isg and deepening atbeyond thenow. And its windy out there and cooler, much cooler pattern is on the way. Overnight look for low clouds and fog not only at the coast, but locally inland. In addition to some high clouds. And our strong and sometimes gusty onshore flow. Overnight low temperatures, though, will not be very cool, mainly in the mid50s, except along the coast, cool with upper 40s. Tomorrow well see high clouds, moving by throughout the day. Filtered sunshine with low clouds sort of hanging on near the coastline. It will be breezy once again. Highs ranging from upper 50s at the coast to upper 60s around the bay to upper 70s inland. On thursday, there might be a little increase in temperature by a couple of degrees. And then start cooling down on friday and saturday. So here is a look at the accuweather sevenday forecast. And you can see that after the cooldown, over the next five days or so, well see another warm wave developing next week. Dan and ama . Sounds good. Thank you, spencer. Okay. The nba is inching toward resuming the season, but warriors head coach steve kerr said today he is not sure there is going to be any more games for goln sta any te soon. Kerr has zoomed in to the university of san francisco. He said the coaches kept in touch with players, but with the warriors having the worst record in the league, he is not certain theyll actually be playing if and when games resume. It feels like the end of the season for our team. It just does. And we dont know anything officially. There is still a chance the league could ask us to come back. Were staying in touch with guys. But everybody is just sort of assuming that this is kind of it. Were not going to be involved much anymore. The nba could just go straight into the playoffs if and when they resume. Moments after their super bowl loss to the chiefs, i saw joe staley of the 49ers fighting back the tears as he slowly trudged back to the niner locker room, knowing in his heart that that was probably the end of his football career, and today staley said goodbye. After 13 years in the red and gold, a neck injury last season no doubt contributing to his decision to retire. Staley listened to his former teammates as they heaped praise on hill. A sixtime pro bowl offensive tackle whose future probably includes a hall of fame jacket. It was very mixed emotions throughout this entire thing because obviously i did not want to quit playing football. I still have a huge love for it. Its going to be a weird transition going into retirement, because it wasnt a thing where i was like all right, this is going to be my last year. Im going to be done. But it was just the right decision for me. Everyone who has met joe staleyer, has shown me in the three years i got to play with him his dedication.
