Its bad enough we are stuck at home in the middle of a pandemic but people across the area say thieves are making things worse by stealing tires off their cars. We have heard at least of three incidents happening in san bruno, and what we can gather is all four tires were removed from the car, meanwhile the victim inside their home, doing the right thing, sheltering in place. Its unclear how long a possible suspension could last or what kind of affect this could have on those currently living in america with the use of green cards. Due to the pandemic, visa offices are largely closed down right now. President trump could sign the order as soon as today. Taking a look at the latest coronavirus numbers in the bay area, 213 people have lost their lives because of the virus. Overall there are close to 6,700 confirmed cases. San mateo, alameda and San Francisco and especially Santa Clara County have all been hit particularly hard. Santa clara county has more than 1,900 cases. To the north, lake county is still reporting six confirmed cases, and mendocino has five, and neither county reported that anybody has died. And now mayor london breed said a new mapping feature shows how many cases have been confirmed. What this map reveals is information that helps us to understand where the cases are, but its in no way indicating that some parts of our city are safer than others. I dont want us to get the idea that that is the case in any of our neighborhoods. The mayor says the tracker also shows obvious disparities within the city. For example, the case count is high in the mission where there is a large latino population. And there are also more cases in the south of market area where theres a large concentration of homeless people. First thing we have to do is get rid of the clouds that plagued us yesterday. You can see by noon, most of the clouds gone and they are hanging around the peninsula coast and south bay. During the afternoon hours, most of those melt away. We will have high clouds roll in this afternoon, but they will not stop the april sunshine from pushing us in the 70s. 64 to 69 around the bay. Low 60s at the coast. Tonight about the same as this morning, and maybe not quite as chilly in the north bay. A lot of mid to upper 40s in the inland valleys, and just patchy clouds and fog. The low from yesterday moving away, the High Pressure moving in and thats what is going to bring us warmer temperatures. Lets look at the numbers in the accuweather 7day forecast.
