>> thank you. a date has been set for a memorial service celebrating the lives of kobe bryant and his daughter and the seven others killed in that helicopter crash. it will be held monday, february 24th at the staples center in los angeles. there is significance in that date. it reflects the basketball numbers worn by the nba icon and his daughter. kobe wore the number 24 and gianna wore the number 2. abc7 news is focused on the ways people are building a better bay area and that includes addressing the housing crisis. housing may be built for muni operators on property it already owns. agency officials say they are dealing with an operator shortage that leaves muni buses undriven system-wise. they hope to build 525 housing units at muni yard on bryant ot street. half of those units would be designated for affordable housing. netflix users know all too well when you're scrolling through the library a preview of a movie or a tv show will automatically play in the thumbnail. apparently a lot of people didn't like this feature, by a lot of people, i mean kumasi aaron. it appears a lot of people tweeted about it and nflix said we heard the feedback loud and clear. if you want to change it, go to settings, manage profiles on the netflix menu and then uncheck auto play previews. instantly your life becomes easier. >> it does. >> everybody is happy that way. beer fans are bundled up in downtown santa rosa. they've been waiting in this long line for hours to get the first taste of pliny the younger. >> the prip atriple ipa is avai starting this morning. amy hollyfield is joining us live from the russian river brewing company with all the details on this. good morning. >> good morning. they have about four more hours to go before they taste that beer. they're bundled up, they look pretty comfortable. something tells me the cold is getting to them a bit. many of them have been here since yesterday. but they say it is worth it. they love seeing each other every year and of course they love the beer. pliny the younger only is released once a year by the russian river brewing company. they say it's very hoppy. it's very delicious. they love the taste and also the alcohol. the perfect harmony of beer ingredients. it's also expensive to make and time consuming. that's why you see it once a year. we talked to the man at the front of the line, lindsay wadell. he can't remember how many years he has done this but he keeps coming back. >> why do i do this? well, you have to do something like this in this crazy world to keep yourself sane. that's why. i ot here 10:30 yesterday morning because i wanted it to be -- usually they open up at 10:30. i wanted it to be a full 24-hour -- >> my gosh. it's worth it? >> yes, definitely worth it. >> 24 hours he's waiting out here. this year for the first time they're bottling the beer. so you can buy two bottles, but you have to buy it here in the tasting room. they want you to come here. they're doing that because they want it to stay fresh. they're very particular about this beer. they don't want it in a truck and sitting on a shelf. they want you walking out of leer with yo here with your bottles and drinking it within a couple weeks maximum. you have to come here to get it, but a lot of people say they want the bottle for the collector's item. the taste room opens at 11:00. the beer is available for two weeks. get on up here. bring your friends. grab a barstool and have a little beer. right, kumasi?
