In oakland, a man is recovering after he was shot and robbed of his laptop on friday. It comes only weeks after another man died during the theft of his laptop at a starbucks. Abc 7 News Reporter is in oakland with details. Open doort and immediately heard somebody screaming. Somebody help me. I dont want to die like this. Oakland resident heard those cries for help after hearing a single gunshot on friday night. He found a man inside this bus shelter. He had been robbed and shot in the hip. He is a former paramedic and helped the man until First Responders arrived. A 2012 mack book pro silver. He was saying he was on his laptop waiting for the bus, somebody came up in a mask asked him for his laptop and either before he could comply or im not sure if he refused, they shot him. Police say the train was stopped at a light and the man was sitting on the device that connects two train cars. He fell under the second train when it began moving again.
