Wind toppling this semi and now strong storms on the move from the south to the northeast. Australian apocalypse. The new warning this morning as thousands race to evacuate. Catastrophic fires scorching more than 12 million acres and now temperatures on the rise. The americans flying in trying to help contain the epic flames this morning. An abc news exclusive. The three women who survived more than a decade in captivity in that Cleveland House of horrors now telling their stories. How were you able to withstand that kind of abuse . Their bravery, resilience and how theyre using their lives to help others only on gma. And also only on gma, actress and talk show host ricki lake here live for her first interview since revealing her secret struggle. Her message now inspiring thousands of women this morning. And it is a very, very busy friday morning here at Good Morning America. And the u. S. And our allies on alert after that dramatic attack on irans top military commander. Yeah, and irans Supreme Leader is now vowing revenge for the u. S. Operation that took out that man, general Qasem Soleimani who was killed in a missile attack at the airport in baghdad on thursday. The u. S. Saying he was responsible for the deaths of hundreds of americans during the iraq war as well as those protests earlier this week. At the u. S. Embassy in baghdad, also warning that he was actively planning attacks on american diplomats and service members. You can see thousands of his supporters taking to the streets protesting this morning. Our chief Global Affairs correspondent Martha Raddatz starts us off there in washington. Good morning, martha. Reporter good morning, robin. Americans are being warned to get out of iraq immediately after this stunning and dramatic escalation with iran and now the world waits for the response from iran. What they do could have a profound impact on the region, possibly leading to war and given the threats this morning coming from iran, a response is almost certain. A fiery heap is all that remained of the motorcade that was carrying Qasem Soleimani, the powerful and revered quds commander in iran, a force labeled a terrorist organization by the u. S. Soleimani had just arrived at baghdads international airport, climbed into an suv and within minutes, he was dead. A sophisticated u. S. Drone launching powerful missiles into the vehicles carrying the elite commander and others supporting iranianbacked militias. An image of soleimanis hand from the smoldering wreckage emerging with a large ring he was known to wear. The pentagon saying in a Statement Last night that soleimani was actively developing plans to attack american diplomats and service members. Adding that the strike was aimed at deterring future iranian attack plans. Secretary of state mike pompeo going further today. We want the world to understand that there was, in fact, an imminent attack taking place. The president s decision to remove soleimani from the battlefield saved american lives. Reporter soleimani in the crosshairs after the death of an American Contractor last week and the attack on the u. S. Embassy in baghdad that followed. President trump who gave the final order to take out the iranian official from his florida retreat, maralago, tweeting an American Flag last night and this morning tweeting, iran never won a war but never lost a negotiation. Directly targeting a Senior Iranian military official is a major escalation in trumps confrontation with iran and his socalled maximum Pressure Campaign which he began after withdrawing from the Iran Nuclear Deal followed by crippling sanctions. Soleimani himself blasting the president in a speech last year. [ speaking Foreign Language ] let me tell you, mr. Trump, the gambler, he said, know that we are near you in places that dont come to mind. He is a hero in tehran for his battlefield exploits dating back to the iran iraq war in the 80s and the u. S. War in iraq where his quds force is responsible for the deaths of hundreds of u. S. Troops in iraq, according to the state department. But soleimani was also a leader in the fight against isis. A mix of intelligence and special operations, the quds force conducts deadly operations and leads fighters throughout the region including in syrias civil war to support the brutal dictator bashar al assad. Iran is all but certain to retaliate for the assassination with fears of an escalation that could spiral into war. Irans powerful ayatollah saying this morning of his righthand man, his efforts and path wont be stopped by his martyrdom, by gods power, rather a severe revenge awaits the criminals who have stained their hands with his and the other martyrs blood last night. Martyr soleimani is an International Figure of resistance, and all such people will seek revenge. U. S. Troops in the region are already on high alert days after the Embassy Compound in baghdad was stormed by a proiranian militia and its supporters. The twoday siege forced marines to deploy tear gas, an Apache Helicopter to fire off flares in warning. That attack came after u. S. Air strikes sunday killed 25 militia members, a retaliation for the death of that u. S. Contractor last friday. The u. S. Has deployed 14,000 troops to the middle east since may and an additional 850 arriving just this week. All of them now potential targets for an iranian response. Israel is also on heightened alert this morning and others across the region, and while soleimani was responsible for the death of so Many American forces in the past, it is unclear how this ends, robin. Martha, please help people understand how significant this is and how big of a blow this could be to iran. Reporter it is such a blow, and as you saw, thousands of mourners did take to the streets across iran this morning after friday prayers. There were three main chants, death to america, death to britain, and revenge, revenge, something we will likely hear a lot more of in the coming days, robin. All right, martha, thank you. Whit. Lets get more on the decision to carry out the strike and the reaction from the white house. Terry moran is there for us this morning with the very latest. Terry, good morning. Reporter good morning, whit. The killing of Qasem Soleimani is one of the most consequential decisions of the trump presidency. A game changer in the middle eeft. It will have unknown and major consequences throughout the region. The president in his resort in florida at maralago, tweeting that American Flag and a taunt to iran saying iran has never won a war but it has won a negotiation. Thats an apparent reference to the Obama Nuclear deal which this president detests. President trump meeting with political allies yesterday, House Minority leader Kevin Mccarthy and matt gaetz who is dialed in and focused on the threat that Qasem Soleimani posed to americans in iraq and he took this action last night. It had been in the works for days apparently. Its the kind of attack, a killing, one of the most powerful leaders in iran that previous president s have shied away from but it is consistent with the president s hard line on iran, withdrawing from the nuclear deal, imposing harsh sanctions. Now this and now what, that is the major question going forward. Robin. All right, terry, thank you. We bring in our contributor, colonel steven ganyard, a former defense official and joins us from washington. What will be irans next move, steve . Well, weve got options, but they have fewer options than in the past. In the past they could use cutouts such as hezbollah and hamas and we have seen tankers mysteriously blow up in the gulf but the u. S. Has said anything that happens iran will be held accountable. So they wont be able to have the options of using cutouts to attack u. S. Forces, create terrorist attacks around the world. That is a big change. And the u. S. Action, its a real game changer with the relationship with iran, isnt it . It is. Theyre going to be held to account. Yesterday defense secretary esper made it quite clear hours before the attack that the u. S. Will go back to preemptive policies. When they see a problem theyll take care of it preemptively and they couched this attack in those same terms. They said, were taking this guy out as a preemptive measure, a defensive measure. Its not offensive. Its not retribution, but when the u. S. Sees they have to take military action preemptively, the policy has now changed. Thanks so much. T. J. As we said iran is threatening revenge, particularly, ayatollah said severe revenge against the criminal so growing concern. Security is stepping up in major cities from l. A. To new york. Our chief justice correspondent Pierre Thomas is tracking this for us this morning, and were talking about stepping up security but also concern this morning, pierre, about cyberattacks. Reporter indeed. T. J. , good morning. Were already seeing a response at home with the nypd which will likely be stepping up security at key locations throughout the city. New yorks mayor last night tweeting that he had begun discussions to protect against, quote, any attempt by iran or its terrorist allies to retaliate against america. The lapd is also immediately announcing that its monitoring the situation and will respond accordingly as necessary. No official response from fbi and Homeland Security officials but i expect one and soon as tensions have escalated when iran and its affiliates in the past year, Law Enforcement and intelligence officials have been on alert to an ongoing threat and fbi and homeland has expressed particular concern of the targeting of faithbased communities here at home. Among the threats listed, hezbollah and iranian agents. According to a recent bulletin two arrests in 2018 indicate iran may have ordered preoperational surveillance against jewish targets here in the homeland, t. J. So, pierre, is there good confidence that they do have capabilities to strike here in the u. S. . Reporter theres concern, t. J. Just three months ago a new jersey man was indicted suspected of having ties to hezbollah. According to the Justice Department he was trained by hezbollah in bombmaking accused of conducting intelligence gathering in new york city. Prosecutors claim he conducted surveillance on the statue of liberty, times square, the Empire State Building and local airports and tunnels. Theres evidence they have been trying to do their homework in preparation of potential attacks and theres history in 2012 the u. S. Charged a suspected iranian operative of planning to assassinate a saudi ambassador on u. S. Soil. T. J. , theres concern not only of physical attacks but also as you said cyberattacks here in the United States conducted by iran as well. All right, Pierre Thomas for us this morning, thank you, as always. Robin . And t. J. , the reaction to the strike coming quickly from capitol hill. Many republican lawmakers lining up to support president trumps decision while Many Democrats are upset congress was not consulted. Mary bruce has much more on all that for us. Good morning, mary. Reporter good morning, robin. Well, the reaction here from the hill overnight was swift and divisive. Republicans are touting this as a Trump Success saying the president made the brave and right call here. The president s top ally on the hill here, senator Lindsey Graham tweeting, wow, the price of killing and injuring americans has just gone up drastically, calling this a major blow to the Iranian Regime that has american blood on its hands. Democrats agree the iranian commander was an enemy of the u. S. But they are warning this is a reckless escalation that could have serious dire consequences, and democrats are furious that congress was not consulted. One senator, senator udall, tweeting, trump is bringing our nation to the brink of an illegal war. And robin, both sides of the aisle here this morning are now demanding more information. They want to know what comes next and whether there is a plan, whether the u. S. Is prepared in case iran retaliates. Robin . Many want to know what happens next. All right, mary, thank you. Whit . Robin, well continue to follow the developments ought of iraq and bring you more information as soon as we get it throughout the morning. We want to turn to breaking news of a knife attack south of paris. Were still awaiting to hear from police whether this is being investigated as a terror incident. James longman is in our London Bureau with the latest. Reporter good morning, whit. Were hearing reports of a stabbing attack just south of paris. A knife is thought lunged at passers at 2 00 p. M. Local time about seven miles south of the french capital. Police say he killed one person and injured three others before being shot by police. Two of those he stabbed are now in a critical state. This all took place in a park seemingly randomly. This is a residential area outside of the city center. Authorities say the attacker has been neutralized and investigations are ongoing with police on the scene. Now, this has left the city on edge, as you can imagine, and its significant enough for the countrys interior minister to head there. Paris and other european cities have unfortunately been targeted by these sorts of attacks. Nothing is confirmed, but it does seem to follow a pattern of indiscriminate and apparently unplanned assaults that weve seen across europe. This is a sad start to the year for france, whit . Hollywood award season kicking off sunday night with the Golden Globes. Some of the biggest stars up for awards this year but many are noting that no female directors were nominated again. Deborah roberts is here with more on that. Good morning, deb. Reporter good morning, robin. On the eve of this Golden Globes show, some may be asking, is it really deja vu all over again . Two years after the start of the me too movement a Record Number of women brought big films to life in 2019. Yet none is being recognized. For all of its star power, this years Golden Globes may be more notable for whats missing. Not one woman nominated in the best director category. Even though women were behind critical favorites like little women. Im angry nearly every day of my life. Reporter and hustlers. I was a centerfold once. No way. Reporter but hustlers did manage a nod for star jennifer lopez. You can go into a fairy sit. Also we should mention that eddie murphy is being nominated in the best actor category for his role in dolemite is my name his first nomination since his 2007 win for dream girls which we all remember. And which he should have won the oscar for. Thats another story. Women of color. Women of color. We talk about women directors not being recognized but women of color are also taking a pretty big hit so, you know, even though were in this movement of recognizing women theyre not necessarily always getting the recognition and the jobs. Lots of work to be done. It feels like here we go again. Thats right. You have that tux ready . Are you ready . Yes. Ill be there on sunday. Id like to join you. Come on out. Youre always welcome. I want to turn the neighborhood i want to turn it into positive and i want to give back. Everybody in life that goes through a tragedy thats been in the dark for so long needs to see the sun rise. Just show the people that have harmed us that they dont control us anymore. Like i said they are thriving. I mean for gina to put her center right there on seymour, on the very street. I have to tell you, gentlemen, i have had the pleasure of being in their company over the years, and i always walk away just in awe, and it is always so emotional too. Gina, this last time i was with them, gina actually gave me a gift. It was a beautiful gift. Its called hope. Iran promising revenge after an u. S. Air strike kills their top military commander. His supporters protesting this morning. Martha raddatz is backtracking it all from washington for us. Good morning, again, martha reporter good morning, robin. Across iran this morning, thousands of iranians were on the streets with calls for death to america and revenge, revenge after a u. S. Drone took out the top Iranian Military commander while he was in iraq. The secretary of state saying that Qasem Soleimani was actively developing plans to attack american diplomats and service members. He said an attack was imminent and as the head of the iranian quds force, a u. S. Designated terrorist organization, soleimani was responsible for the deaths of hundreds of u. S. Troops in iraq dating back more than a decade. But this bold and dramatic air strike on an iranian official will almost certainly provoke a violent response from iran with fears of sparking a regional war. Pompeo saying just moments ago that the u. S. Is prepared for the iranian response, but in the meantime, warning americans to get out of iraq immediately, robin. Okay, martha, thank you. No official response from fbi and Homeland Security officials but i expect one and soon as tensions have escalated with iran and its affiliates in the past year. Law enforcement and intelligence officials have been on alert to the ongoing threat. According to a recent bulletin, quote, two arrests in 2018 indicate iran may have ordered preoperational surveillance against jewish targets in the homeland. Just three months ago a new jersey man was indicted suspected of having ties to hezbollah. According to the Justice Department he was trained by hezbollah in bombmaking and he was accused of conducting intelligence gathering on key locations in new york city. All right, we have our gma cover story. Beloved actress and tv personality ricki lake recently opened up about her secret struggle with hair loss. This is something she has faced for nearly 30 years. Now she is here for her first interview. Were going to speak with ricki in just a moment, but first, lets take a look at her story. Beauty comes from the inside. Thanks for watching. See you next time. Reporter this morning, former talk show host and actor ricki lake is embracing her own beauty after opening up about the struggles she faced during what she says is her 30year hair loss journey. Hi, courtney. Im tracy turnblatt. Reporter the hairspray star who said it was her actual hair in the film sharing the new look on her social media media pages, writing, it has been debilitating, embarrassing, painful, scary, depressing, lonely, all the things. There have been a few times where i have even felt suicidal over it. Lake goes on to write, i know that by sharing my truth i will be striking a chord with so many men and women. I am not my hair reporter lakes message to be real resonating with thousands on social media. Tosha gibson posting, i did the same thing a few years ago. It is freeing and you feel like youre able to start fresh and start to feel like you again. Women like stacy and amanda also inspired by lake to not let their hair define them, lifting the veil on hair loss. There is a Huge Community of us that support you and each other and we look forward to hearing more from you. So my hair is off to you. I wanted to thank you so much for putting such a beautiful public face on such a normally very private issue like female hair loss and, girlfriend, im almost with you on the shaved head. I think you might have inspired me to go full peach fuzz. Thank you. Thank you. A warm welcome for ricki lake, please. [ applause ] good morning. Breathe, breathe, breathe. The outpouring has been amazing. What has this meant to you . I mean, this was personal. This wasnt about i mean, im overwhelmed by the reaction. I was really scared people were going to say mean things. I was really i was sort of at the end of my rope. This has been something that has plagued my for so, so long. It was my secret, you know, and im an open book. You guys grew up with me. I wear everything on my sleeve. I talked extensively about my husband who died by suicide almost three years ago. Like, ive shared. Im an oversharer as my man would say but this this, i just was at the end of my rope. It had gotten too, too difficult to manage. What was that moment . As you said youve been dealing with this for on and off. It wasnt all the time. You know, i would wear extensions. I would try to make my hair look fuller. I was using this system that a friend of mine had created that was really working for a long time but i just did a stint in london on x factor and went on a crash diet. So for me, its ironic. You were doing the half your size yesterday, and that was really what started this whole thing. Between hairspray, and the hair that was damaged then, and then losing 100 pounds when i was 21 on a crush diet, the weight fluctuation, messing with my hormones, it all contributed. Plus genetics and hormonal Birth Control was a perfect storm. Youve always been open about your struggle with your weight. And then for this to happen and now do you feel like in a sense a weight has been lifted from you . Oh, my gosh. Its yes. I do. I feel like im finally i can finally be truly me, and i actually i dont think i look that bad. You dont. I like my head. You have a nice head. [ applause ] showering, for women who have struggled and men who struggle with this issue, seeing the hair in the drain was so traumatizing. I was afraid to take showers and in the process of blowing out extensions which pull on my hair and hurt. Now to take a shower it is like orgasmic. It is like i cant believe it and the time it takes to get ready. This is new. I just this is like my second day in public. Even when you were in the airport coming here people were stopping you. I had a hat on so, yes, you know, yeah, people definitely are noticing me more but i feel like if i can be a beacon of hope for so many people, it wasnt what i set out to do, honestly. This was my own personal thing and looking at the time line of like the new year, the new decade and new you. Im done. New me. How about your boys . Amazing. Theyre 22 and 18 and they are and super proud of me and this in some ways is the bravest thing ive ever done in my life and ive gone through a lot. Do you know a lot of women deal with this. A lot of women deal with this. Over 50 of women during their lifetime and i love the india. Arie song we are not our hair. We are the soul that lives within. Why do you think we have this construct of what is beauty, you know, and i dont want to blame but like these women that we emulate, you know. Whether its the kardashians or, you know, all of them are using fake hair. Its not real and im not suggesting anybody do anything that doesnt work for them. Anyone should do whatever works for them. But, you know, this is what works for me at this time in my life and i feel like ive been set free. You know, i truly, truly feel like i feel like im ready to take on anything after this. Im sure. [ applause ] you know, theres so many people that have reached out. Theres one person rachel from vermont who wants to know what were some of the barriers you encountered that may have delayed your decision to talk openly about your hair loss . Being a public figure and everyone is so obsessed with, oh, my god, you look amazing, you lost weight. I was implicated in all of that. I loved sharing my story i lost 20 pounds in five weeks. I mean thats this last stint. I lost a lot of weight. Heres the thing. When i was wearing this extension piece, i didnt want to exercise. It was hard to exercise because i would get sweaty, and then i would have to shower which meant pulling on it. It was like one or the other to lose the weight for the job i went on a crash diet, 500 calories a day for six weeks and its effective. Five or six weeks and lost 20 pounds but then three months later like clockwork just when i had my babies too, i had my babies and stopped breastfeeding and im sure all of you women can relate, your hair starts shedding. To not have to see hair on my shoulder anymore. You know, im just my hair is weird. The color is weird because i was coloring it. In two weeks it will probably be gray and silver. And sexy, baby. [ applause ] 2020. What are you going to do . 2020. I have a film, new film, documentary, most of you know i make documentaries mostly about Womens Health called the business of Birth Control. Its looking at hormonal Birth Control. This is part of the story was this but this was not about that movie. I have that coming out and i really think i want to write a book about my hair journey. Its ironic, from hairspray to weave wars on my show and i would almost make light of that like with these women, with these weaves, i was almost not making fun of, but i was making light, and theres nothing to laugh about with this. This is really its really personal, and so i have learned. I have learned the hard way, and i really im holding my head up high. I have never been prouder of myself, and im really touched by the reaction and the fact that i can help others through this process. And it means a lot you came here. I wanted to talk to you and only talking to you so thank you, robin. I remember there are various reasons why women lose their hair and i lost mine because of chemotherapy and it was shocking to me some women forgo treatment because they dont want to lose their hair. Yeah. Like you it was liberating for me when i took off my wig you looked amazing. Like watching you every morning and held your head up high and have been an inspiration to me. You are an inspiration for so many. Thank you for being here. My pleasure. I love you. I love you right back. Back over to ginger. Ginger. Oh, i loved seeing that and hearing that. Thank you so much, ricki. Lets get a check now closer to home. All right now to a popular new years resolution, to find love in the new year like two of our audience members right here. According to dating apps this sunday is expected to be their busiest matchmaking day of the year. Bela gandhi, the founder of Smart Dating Academy is here to take us into the gma dating zone this morning. Yeah, the love zone. Well introduce our guests in a moment. First, i have to ask you, why are so many people turning to apps this weekend . So, look. Almost half of americans are single, and its after the 1st. So what are we doing . Were making resolutions to get out there and fall in love. Second, sundays are always the busiest day of the week. Why . Hangovers are over. The music is down. So by sunday night were feeling a little lonely and start swiping so those two things combine to make sunday kind of dating super bowl. Youre going to get everybody ready to go for this sunday. You got it. So we want to get the audience involved here. Everybody has paddles. True, false, you can be lively. Its all right. All right. So heres what well do. Ill ask the audience a question and tell me if its true or false. Heres the question, if you really like someone and theyre really good for you, you should feel heavy butterflies in your stomach. True or false . True . A lot of trues. Bela, the answer . The answer is, eh, false. Oh. Why is that . This is why were not dating well as a culture. Were taught to think that butterflies in our stomach are good. Its interest, and were excited. You can have a little before the first date but after the first date if your stomach has heavy churning butterflies, its your gut telling you danger, will robinson. Its fear. Its anxiety. Get out of dodge. Got it. Lets bring in our guests here. First we have to check in with our single 22yearold hannah from minnesota. Thank you so much for being here. Hannah, what is your question . What is your question for bela . Hi, bela. Ive been on a few dates and am selfconscious. Im looking for some tips on how i can build my selfconfidence in order to strike up a conversation and ask a guy out on a date. Oh, yay. Good. Im so glad youre doing that. When youre on the apps you dont have to have long deep conversations by text. What you can do to see if you can build chemistry is take it to the phone. When you talk to someone on the phone before a date, actually speak and talk, youre actually creating a connection so that when you get on the date it doesnt feel so awkward. And if you really want to up your game, you can set up the facetime. Right . You can actually see and hear what this person is like. Lets bring in michael. You call yourself a hopeful romantic. Youre from atlanta but living here in new york. Whats your question . So the dating world has changed a lot so my question is about tradition. Is it okay to bring flowers on a first date or is that doing too much . So, today a gentleman. I love that. But in todays dating world its probably a little much to bring flowers right away. Go on the fourth, fifth, sixth date. If you feel like it will be well received then you can bring out the flowers. The 20s are an awesome time to get out there and meet people in real life. Go to the weddings, go to the parties. Go to everything, say yes. Were out of time. Thank you so much. Bela joins us tomorrow on gma saturday with more details. Well be right back here in just a moment. [ cheers and applause ] [ cheers and applause ] back in just a moment. 6 good morning, north bay. Lets get up and get going. This is abc7 mornings. With your latex gloves and your vaseline. [ applause ] we were just having a discussion with ricki about hair. I mean that is like almost a daily discussion for so many people. But lets talk about what is it like with the cast . You know, all these years still together. Do you still enjoy each other as much as from day one . Of course. I mean, shoot, we get were like a family like for sure. Like thats literally us but its always energy on set. Like great vibes, i always feel like i learn something every day from like whether its anthony, tracee, even miles and marcus or jara. You feel right there at home. I know how is it that everyone is always calling you the wonder kid. You are doing so many things at such a young age and i hear when somebody asked you back in the day when do you want to be when you grow up. What did you say legend. You want to be a legend. Yeah. That girl was bold. So we have some young people here in the audience. What do you say to somebody who has some big dreams at a young age . I would say i mean you dont need to know everything. I dont know everything about the plan im going through. Its always taking one step at a time. Feel comfortable in the space that you are in. You know. Theres no rush like either. Like life is short for sure but like theres no rush in anything. Like you dont have to like overplan or overdo something. You know, like plans always work but always feel comfortable in the space that youre in. Like whether you need to take a break or not, just make sure you are in the right path for yourself. Can we have a little fun along the way too . Yes. Have fun along the way. Okay. Thats the best part . Thats it. Well, its always the best part having you here on gma. Thank you. So our best to everybody and thank you so much. Continued blessings. Keep it going. Keep it going. I will. I know you will. Blackish airs tuesday nights 9 30 eastern right here on abc. Ginger. That is some wisdom i just got there. My goodness. We are so happy to do this now. It is time to cook up some comfort food perfect for the whole family. Our sponsor campbells is bringing us recipes so simple the kids can jump in and help. We have their spokesperson, Geoffrey Zakarian showing us how its done and brought along his two daughter, madeline and anna. [ applause ] you dont need me. We actually dont. We already talked and feeling like you could walk off at any point. I will if you ask me to. I want to say i want to be a legend too. It is important to have your kids in the kitchen, is it not. Yes, it is. Were doing something here so incredible taking one can of this incredible creamy soup and stretching it to about six things and making a delicious brussels sprout and sausage gratin. Its so easy to do, madeline, start us off. This is the bread crumb topping and im putting some parmesan cheese, panko bread crumbs and chopped parsley, olive oil and garlic. Would you like to mix it up. Already delegating. In the next pot i have chicken sausage in here and well add like quarter chopped brussels sprouts and you mix this up until its like nice and caramelized. Then you have a tip to make this parmesan crust really crispy. Cast iron. It can heat up really, really to a High Temperature which gets the panko crispy and caramelizes the vegetables really well. Wow. There you go. All right. So this is this is how it looks once its like caramelized and, dad, would you like to do ill add chicken stock. Very simple. Then we add the magic. Condensed cream of mushroom. Where all the flavor pops in without you even having so flavorful, its seasoned beautifully. Yeah. You dont have to think about that part. I dont like messing with the sauce. Once thats in, you stir it up. Good day for this. It is. Let me tell you. Lets jump on that. So we can go to anna. Bread crumbs on top. And you bake it for 25 to 35 minutes in a 400degree oven. I love it. Anna, lets do it. Bring us right into it. So you want to start off with some broccoli in a bowl and you can toss it with olive oil, salt and pepper. And after that you can cook bacon, onions and garlic. In the bacon, i imagine. Yes. And then you want to add your bacon, onions and garlic. Now you have one tip we have to get to. When adding campbells what is your tip . Use a whisk because when you stir it around, when you add two liquids different temperatures, they tend you want to make it more smooth to get out the lumps. Nice and creamy. Dont use your wooden spoon there. Use that. Right. Ah, perfect. I imagine the pasta comes in last. Then we add the pasta. All right. Can you put it all together . I will a give it a taste. Running out of time. Madeline, anna, i dont think we need dad next time. Geoffrey. You can get these recipes on our website and coming up, we are counting down to the new season of the bachelor. Yes, an inside look. [ applause ] gmas souped up recipes is sponsored by campbells. No matter how much you clean, does your house still smell stuffy .
