They had it blocked off, wrapped with crime scene tape for about eight hours. Theyre gone. Were hearing that mom is in the hospital with life threatening injuries. Because police say before they could get to this home, the father, 24yearold victor magana, actually abducted his 2yearold daughter, Bethanie Carraza, and she is missing this morning. And that is what has touched off the desperate search and the amber alert that has been issued for several counties here in the south bay area. Again, that girl, 2 years old, brown hair, brown eyes. The father, 24 years old. His name is victor magana. 54 140 pounds, also with brown hair and brown eyes. Theres a picture on your screen. Police believe the two could be in this 07 Hyundai Santa fe with california plate, 7xjx025. Again, video from earlier this morning when investigators first got that 911 call, showed up to the home, thats when they realized the father and that 2yearold were both missing. This active Police Investigation happening just blocks away from san jose state universitys campus. Again, that 2yearold is missing this morning. Neighbors who fought against the Navigation Center argue it will bring more drugs and crime to the area. Police say theyre setting up a twoblock safety zone around that center to keep loiterers, homeless encampments and drug use outside of the zone. Now that San Franciscos escooter program has expanded, an additional 750 escooters will be on the streets. Spin, lime and jump are allowed to release 250 escooters each starting yesterday. They can be found in several neighborhoods including mission, castro, bayview and near San Francisco state university.
