Investigators toured a similar boat inspecting a below deck bunk room and one emergency hatch. Some tried to crawl through the hatch and said it would have been difficult for 4 people to quickly escape. Surviving crew members say they tried breaking through doors and windows several times hoping to rescue the trapped passengers but the intense flames and searing heat drove them back. Police say this is video of an American Woman trying to smuggle an infant out of the philippines. Watch again as she pulls the baby, just six days old, out of that sling and walks through the metal detector at at manilas airport. They were surprised they learned the baby was inside the sling.
