Abc7 News Reporter liz kreutz has an update on them and a message from a Las Vegas Shooting survivor from gilroy now offering to help those in her community who need the help. Reporter donations continue to pour in for the victims and survivors of the gilroy festival shooting. More than 270,000 combined has been raised for families of 6yearold stephen romero, 13yearold caila salazar and trevor irby. Seven victims remain in local hospitals, one in serious condition, two in fair condition, two in stable condition and two asked no information be released. In addition to those who died and wounded, theres also the thousands of survivors who were able to escape physically unharmed but now have to deal with the psychological aftermath of being there during a mass shooting. Were here in a neighborhood in gilroy to speak with a survivor of the Las Vegas Shooting. She is now offering to help those survivors of the shooting in gilroy. Have i gotten a couple messages from people saying my sister was in the shooting. Should we have her seek counseling, what should we do. My advice was yes, have her seek counseling. All the people that were there that night in las vegas, all the people in gilroy that heard those sounds, they will forever be in your head.
