And since then they have added sensors to those doors to detect if there is something or someone blocking the door. Were afraid the city is creating a problem we dont have. Rfr despite pushback, the San Francisco board of supervisors voted to move forward with the center. The stefr would have 200 beds, making it the largest in the city. Those in favor of the shelter say its needed for the community. Its time to be expediting homeless shelters. I dont know how anyone can look at our street and say its not a good idea to expedite homeless shelters. Reporter planners want it to open in a few months to move people toward permanent housing. San francisco operates Navigation Centers elsewhere. And critics claim theyve blighted other neighborhoods. Other Navigation Centers of much smaller size have required all most daily police, paramedic and fire services. The family of murdered Sacramento Police officer Tara Osullivan is speaking publicly for the first time about her death. Osullivan was shot and killed last week while she and other officers were responding to a domestic dispute. Police say adele sambrano ramos ambushed osullivan. Her father said this is the job she always wanted and theres only one person to blame for what happened.
