My phone is still working, thats a good thing, to get it out and my car keys. Reporter amazingly, no one was hurt in the fire. All 16 residents including five kids and some pets, were accounted for. Firefighters and neighbors say some Good Samaritans like juan and his uncle banged on doors and windows waking everyone up and making sure no one was left behind. We started knocking on peoples windows, getting the fire extinguishers and trying to calm the flames down and then before before before the firefighters came, he made sure that everyone was out. Banging on doors, getting other people out, that saved lives. Reporter the red cross was here. Theyre helping some of the people out by putting them up in hotels. Crews from San Francisco public works and Water Department are working on a cause and a fix. The federal government is giving San Francisco more funding this year to fight ho homele homelessness. The sf gate reports the county will receive 41. 5 million in homelessness grants this year. Thats about 9 million more than it received last year.
