A few clouds spilling over from this big dome of High Pressure that continues to stay with us for the next couple of days before it fades away just temporarily. 50 right now in oakland as well as hayward, 52 in fremont, 56 in the city with 54 in san jose, so we kept those winds up all night long and not as cold as weve been. As a result, were anywhere from 11 to be 15 degrees milder right now from san jose to livermore. This is compared to yesterday. San francisco the warmest spot at 56 degrees. So your forecast highlights calls for the gusty winds to relax this afternoon. So well be back to some milder afternoon readings in terms of temperatures, but also those winds really will dial back and well look for another mild day monday and tuesday. Wednesday looks to be a little bit interesting, though. High pressure will weaken a bit for a system to move in from the north. So we are looking at winds in the upper elevations anywhere from 20 to 40 miles an hour right now. And mt. Tam gusting to 30 miles an hour, the Oakland Hills 22mileanhour gusts. You can see right above hoof man bay we have wind gusts of 27 miles an hour so certainly the windiest time of the day will be now between 7 00 and an hour after sunrise. Were bringing in tuesday night into wednesday, we could see anywhere from a tenth of an inch of rain, not much to write home about, but we will get the ground wet come wednesday morning. By the time you get to the afternoon commute, it will be dry. So as we go through the day today, once again not a lot of change in terms of temperatures. In the mid60s again, thats about 5 or 6 degrees above average. Cooler at the coast. A few high clouds. But the winds dialing back certainly by the afternoon hours. So overnight tonight it will be cooler without that wind in the afternoon and evening hours. Temperatures will drop back into the 30s in our inland east bay. Livermore 35. Look for 37 in concord. Low to mid30s in santa rosa in and around the napa area irea a well. Well see a pleasant afternoon. Still sunshine.
