The private bus he was riding on crashed on the sound 101. We were dancing on the road. And then we fell on one side. Then i forgot everything. Reporter he says the bus was taking a group from San Francisco to palo alto for a Holiday Party. But the bus started fish tailing, hit the Center Divider and bounced back across four lanes. The bus flipped over . Im very lucky. Reporter lucky indeed. All 29 passengers and the driver were taken to local hospitals. We ruled out that the driver was not impaired at the time of the collision. Reporter the chp towed the bus to the inspection yard. Nobody was careful to what was happening. Reporter abc 7 confirms the bus is owned by charter brothers which uses this lot in oakland to park its buses. According to the website, its a familyowned company with more than 20 years of experience. The California PublicUtilities Commission which oversees charter buses shows the company is licensed and insured. Weve reached out to charter brothers for comment but have not heard back.
