The California Office of Emergency Services posted this drone video on facebook yesterday and it shows the first home in santa rosas coffey park to be cleared of fire debris. The homeowners signed their right of entry form which allows crews on to their property. The deadline is less than a week away. About 1,000 homes were destroyed in the coffey park neighborhood. Metallica, Dave Matthews and bay area hip hot artists will be taking the stage at at t park today to raise money for fire victims. Proceeds from ticket sales will go to Tipping Point community which has set up an emergency relief fund. Tickets are free for fire victims. Happening today the state board of education will consider rejecting new textbooks that do not detail the Sexual Orientation of historical figures. A coalition of lgbt Rights Groups are urging the board to reject two proposed history and science textbooks for middle schools.
