Reporter his family made it out of their Redwood Valley neighborhood. Their home was spared. But tim smith is still processing the devastation. His neighbors lost everything. I dont feel like its really hit me yet. Ive just been running around putting out spot fires in the neighborhood. Reporter firefighters are battling two fires in mendocino county. Eight people have died, 8,000 displaced. But the situation is changing by the day. Today, im telling you eight battalions, and tomorrow once confirmation has happened, the number will go up.
