The San FranciscoPolice Department released a statement this morning about the passing, says in part stacee was taken in a senseless act of violence as her husband sfpd officer Vinnie Etcheber heroically rushed to help victims on sunday. The fear of being on that stage now, and not that i will not i will come back, and i perform here, and i will im not going to let this one person ruin it for every other performer here and the that came to have a good time. People have also placed candles and flowers across the street from where the shooting happened. Bay area residents who attended the concert are sharing their stories of survival. Kim shubert of petaloma says a man near her got shot in the back. I put my body over the guy, to protect it from any more shooting and the people that were around him, i kind of laid on them to make sure everybody was okay. Then im pretty sure one of the girls got shot. At that point, i just i kind of freaked out. I was like, i got to go, we got to go. Called my daughter. And basically just told her i didnt think i was going to make it. Were so glad she did. She thought there were at least four gunmen because of the sheer amount of gunfire. Police have said they believe the shooter, stephen paddock, acted alone. Donations continue to pour in as the world reacts to the news out of las vegas. A gofund me page to raise money for the victims is climbing once again. The Las Vegas Victims Fund has now raised 3. 4 millio look at that, its gone up since we last saw it. Now its 3. 5 billion. The goal raised to 4. 5 billion. The Oakland Raiders who plan to move to las vegas donated 50,000 to the fund. Blood centers of the pacific and San Francisco reporting while the immediate need for blood donations in las vegas has been met, blood products are always in demand due to their short shelf life.
