The new Pricing System will benefit customers who live inland where it is hot and run air conditioners longer. For years they complained the rate system favored people along the coast. The valley in some east bay cities will benefit from it. For years the Public Utilities commission used a fourtier Pricing System. Once you use the amount allotted for tier one you move on to the next tier where price is higher. If you reach tiers 3 and 4 your rates for that power increases dramatically. Under the new Pricing System the highest power users get a break by paying less than they have in order to balance things out those who consume less see a slightly higher power bill. The Utility Reform Network calls it unfair. That really makes no sense, is completely unfair. We think customers should be rewarded for saving energy not punished. On tuesday Governor Brown signed the law requiring all public and private School Children to get vaccines starting next year and eliminates exemptions. Supporters say the law protects public health. Protesters say it takes away their right to parent. They are holding rallies across the state and working on a Ballot Initiative to repeal the law. The American Academy of pediatrics says vaccines are safe and effective. An unexpected discovery recovering eight large bags of marijuana plants. The workers took the pot back to their maintenance yard and contacted chp. The officers tweeted out these photos before they took charge of the dope.
