Kerry councillors 'begging, pleading' for former psychiatric hospital to be used for housing

There are have repeated calls this week for the former Kerry psychiatric hospital in the town of Killarney to be again used for housing. The site which has been lying idle since 2012 is the ideal location for housing according to local councillors who have long called for the building and the adjacent land to be used to solve the housing crisis in Killarney town.
