Kenya ordered to redress wrongs done to Ogiek indigenous minority

The African Court on Human and Peoples' Rights on June 23 ordered the Kenyan government to return to the indigenous Ogiek people their ancestral lands. Kenya was also ordered to pay reparations to the community, which has been repeatedly evicted to date. The court decision’s execution by the Kenyan state remains uncertain.
