The unrest in Kenosha sparked by the police shooting of Jacob Blake in August 2020 has prompted a number of criminal investigations -- including at the federal level.
KENOSHA, Wis. - The unrest in Kenosha sparked by the police shooting of Jacob Blake prompted a number of criminal investigations.
35-year-old Joshua Kiminski of Racine is facing a string of charges including arson -- stemming from the unrest in Kenosha last August. His wife Kelly is also facing charges. Prosecutors say there is cellphone video of both blocking law enforcement when riots broke out. There was also video of them intentionally lighting a dumpster on fire, court records say.
