Kennebec County Teacher of the Year gives students a chance to restore alewife harvest in Gardiner

Sharon Gallant and her Gardiner Area High School students have worked with a local nonprofit for five years to collect data on the fish often used as lobster bait in hopes they can help bring the commercial harvesting industry back to the city.
