Two suspects who are believed to have been involved in the shooting of 13 bullets into a car in Frenchtown Township have been arraigned on felony charges, including attempted murder, after turning themselves into authorities this week.
Kelvin Harris, 28, and Austin A. Watkins, 26, were charged with nine- and one-count complaints, respectively, following the Feb. 1 shooting at Telegraph and Stewart Rds. that injured two people, including an 18-year-old Monroe woman who was hit several times and remains in critical condition.
Harris, also known as “40” and “40 cal,” turned himself in Wednesday and was arraigned on charges of six counts of assault with intent to murder and three weapons related charges Friday in Monroe County First District Court. His bond was set at $1 million.
