Keighley people display their creative talents

The contest was staged by Keighley Healthy Living, in partnership with Bradford As One.
“The aim of the competition was to bring communities together and give people a focus during the final stages of lockdown,” said a Keighley Healthy Living spokesman.
“We received some wonderful artwork.”
Some of the entries are on display – until May 28 – at the Game shop, in Keighley’s Airedale Shopping Centre.
Winners were: placemat (over 16) – 1 Kim Guinnetti and Helen James, runner-up Sue Ridley; highly commended Bella and Sophia Holmes (under 16).
Cyanotype (over 16) – Gill Hill (Art Group), Steve Rayner; cyanotype (under 16) – 1 Ella Smith, runner-up Lucy Snowdon, highly commended Ralph Jack.
