THE prevalence of heart disease in Malaysia is ever increasing and it is still the number one killer in Malaysia. According to the Department of Statistics Malaysia, the mortality rate caused by heart disease demonstrated an increasing trend from 13.2% in 2016 to 17.0% in 2020.
