Kate Garraway has revealed herself as a keen knitter, which she has been enjoying as a welcome distraction while husband Derek Draper remains in hospital with Covid-19.

Good Morning Britain presenter explained how she finds solace in her work, telling
Women's Own columnist Richard Arnold via GoodtoKnow: "The show gives me the chance to make the connection, to make people smile. The viewers have been so kind. I got a lovely, cosy knitted blanket 
the other day. And I’m a knitter, Richard, so I know how much effort it takes."
