Karnataka HC observes that right to gather is guaranteed to mourn dead in the absence of untoward incident

The government counsel opposed this, arguing that a gathering should not disrupt the peace in society, as in the context of the death of an innocent person human emotions might overflow leading to a disruption despite police presence.
