Dhanush's Karnan is setting the box office on fire.
Dhanush's Karnan, directed by Mari Selvaraj, released in theatres on April 9 and is setting the box office on fire. The film has collected Rs 10 crore on its first day and is going strong. Theatres in Tamil Nadu operated with 100 per occupancy on April 9. However, from April 9, the government has instructed theatres to function with 50 per cent occupancy to curb the spread of Covid-19.

Karnan released in theatres amid huge expectation from fans. The film had early morning shows across theatres in Tamil Nadu which saw several thousands of people in attendance. On its opening day, the film managed to gross over Rs 10 crore in Tamil Nadu.
