DIPHU — Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma will be laying various developmental foundation stones worth INR 2503.91 crore in Karbi Anglong, said Amarsing Tisso, Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) Executive Member (EM) in a press conference held at KAAC, New secretariat building here on Wednesday. ‘Assam CM Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma along with Finance Minister Ajanta Neog, Education Minister Dr. Ranoj Pegu, Minister of Hills Area Department Jugen Mohan and PHE Minister Jayanta Baruah are coming down to Taralangso, Diphu on Thursday to lay the foundation stones. The Assam government has given a developmental scheme for Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council for roads and medical, while distribution of ICDS kits and centres will also be held. Apart from this, another 200 Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) centres for Karbi Anglong through a special package from the Assam government will be given.
