Kansas City reporter, 24, is killed by stray bullet

Kansas City radio reporter, 24, is killed by a stray bullet that came through her apartment's window as city comes off year with record number of homicides
Aviva Okeson-Haberman was found with a gunshot wound in her apartment on Friday, when a colleague went to check on her
She was transported to a local hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries
Police said her wound appeared to be the result of a bullet that pierced a window of her first-floor apartment
Police are now investigating the shooting
