Shakespeare's take on Portia, the wife of Roman statesman Brutus, is the inspiration behind Devon More's submission. The track was commissioned by Western Canada Theatre and Musical TheatreWorks as part of Lady Macbeth and the Note Quite Dead, a collection of 17 songs commissioned by artists across the country.
