Kamil Stoch
Only three days after his triumph in the 69th 4-Hills-Tournament, Kamil Stoch also won the first of two World Cups in Titisee-Neustadt. In an exciting competition, the three-time Olympic champion presented himself in outstanding shape on the Hochfirst-hill and came in ahead of Norway's Halvor Egner Granerud and his teammate Piotr Zyla.
After this first round, Kamil Stoch was second behind his teammate Dawid Kubacki, but Kubacki then had difficult conditions in his second jump and dropped to seventh overall. This cleared the way for Kamil Stoch today. Besides today's winner, also Piotr Zyla (3rd), Andrzej Stekala (5th), and Dawid Kubacki (7th) finished in the Top 7, the Polish team keeps performing at an extremely high level. Poland also leads the Nations Cup with a total of 2286 points, ahead of Norway (2144 points) and Germany (1933 points).
