The actor pinned many hopes on his next film Indian 2, a big-budget action-packed social drama that is directed by Shankar. Indian 2 happens to be the sequel for their super hit movie Indian. The film faced several hurdles right from the day it commenced shoot. Shankar and the producers Lyca Productions could not come on to a common stand on the film's budget. Then an accident happened on the sets that killed three crew members on the sets.
