Kalamazoo Rep. Julie Rogers appointed as Assistant Democratic Floor Leader

LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — State Rep. Julie Rogers, a Democrat from Kalamazoo, was appointed this week to serve as the Assistant Democratic Floor Leader for the 2021-22 legislative term. Rogers is serving her first term representing the 60th House District, prior to which she served on the Kalamazoo County Commission for eight years, including serving as Board Chair.
“I am honored to receive this position and appreciate the confidence Democratic Floor Leader Rabhi has placed in me,” said Rogers. “I look forward to assisting the legislative process on the House Floor and working for the people of Michigan.”
