Dimapur, Oct. 30 (EMN): Minister of Agriculture and Cooperation, G Kaito Aye, said Biblical predictions are coming to pass and urged that all must come together as one to fight against all evils in the society. The minister was addressing the concluding day of the 31st Sumi Baptist Convention (SBC) held at Unity Baptist Church in Unity Village, Chümoukedima district, on October 30, an update stated. Aye dwelled on present crises in the world like the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war, post-pandemic scenario, climate change and the other economic and political turmoils around the world. He shared that Sumis should not be popular for “war, hosting and celebrating festivals etc., but also should be known for their hard work, quality education and other values.” On the theme of the convention ‘Unity is strength,’ the minister reminded the congregation that it is difficult to build a society but easy to destroy it saying, “If society is disunited, we cannot expect our children to be united in divided house.” He further stressed on early solution to the Naga political issue, which is affecting every strata of the society, and requested the believers to pray for early solution.
