The Chiefs could have used a receiver like this in the Super Bowl. A beluga whale playing catch with a fisherman off the coast of Norway went viral last year, but there's more to the story.
The fisherman throws a rugby ball out into the water and the whale brings it back to him in an oceanic game of fetch, but word is, this whale is Russian. The whale in the video is named Hvaldimir, a beluga whale that escaped from a Russian military facility. A spy? He turned up in the waters off the fishing village of Tufjord, on an island at the northern tip of Norway last year. He had a harness attached to his body labelled with the words, ‘Equipment of St Petersburg’, and harassed fishermen’s boats by approaching them and tugging on straps and ropes hanging off the sides. They managed to free him from the harness and now he's got game.
