Port Huron Times Herald
A jury has been selected for the man accused of fatally shooting an off-duty cop and wounding two others in 2018.
Shortly before 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, the jury was selected for Joshua Bauman, 32, of Kimball. Selection took place in McMorran Auditorium to comply with social distancing guidelines during the COVID-19 pandemic.
St. Clair County Circuit Court Judge Michael West dismissed the court shortly after 3:30 p.m. During the trial, which begins at 9 a.m. Wednesday, West said the jury will be seated in the gallery at the back of the courtroom, rather than jury box, due to social distancing guidelines during the COVID-19 pandemic.
