Juneteenth book 'a labor of love' for author Vaunda Micheaux Nelson

Rio Rancho author Vaunda Micheaux Nelson says she prefers her subject matter to be “a story under-told.“There are great stories out there, if you want to seek them out,” Nelson said, terming – as many authors choose to do – her book “a labor of love.”
