Julian Stair: Art, Death and the Afterlife

In response to lives lost in the Covid pandemic, Stair’s new work includes monumental figural forms, small vessels with embedded human ashes and cinerary jars, alongside a series of ‘death cafes’ at the Sainsbury Centre to bring together members of the community and those involved in end-of-life care
