Judge: Text messages to explain financial motive are admissible evidence at trial of Abington woman accused of killing parents

Prosecutors can present text messages to a jury that support their claim that Verity Beck of Abington Township had a financial motive to fatally shoot her elderly parents Jan. 7, 2023, and then dismember them with a chainsaw, a judge has ruled.
